Managing Attorney

 

With a sense of humor and a passion for branding Pollie Gautsch, the managing attorney at G&A Legal, has coordinated and prosecuted thousands of applications and registrations in the United States and throughout the world.  She has 18 years of experience assisting clients in the areas of intellectual property. Ms. Gautsch helps clients to create and protect their intellectual property (including trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets).

 

In addition to strategic portfolio management and counseling, the G&A Legal team has substantial experience handling trademark administrative proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB). We help clients create strategies for both sending and responding to cease-and-desist letters and other third-party issues. We pride ourselves on our ability to come up with creative solutions to resolve disputes, including negotiating and drafting trademark-related agreements, including license agreements, coexistence agreements, and co- branding agreements.

Alexandra Berkowitz, Esq.

Alexandra graduated with her Juris Doctor with emphasis on Intellectual Property Law from the University of San Diego School of Law in May 2015; prior to that she received her Bachelors of Arts in Political Science at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, Ca. While in law school, Alexandra served as the vice-president, and then president, of the USD Law Intellectual Property Law Association, and was selected to participate in the prestigious Intellectual Property law clinic. Her focus is on trademark prosecution and litigation.
